Allan, it might not work anyway

When I realized that my siamese was a roamer, who stays gone for days at a time, I decided to put a collar on her with a tag listing my name, address, and number in case something happened to her and also to inform the clueless that she is indeed owned by someone and thus not available for "adoption."

I also realized she is a fairly prolific hunter, having brought in many birds, mice, chipmunks and even a snake. I also happened to watch her with one of her prey, a chipmunk, her pupils dilated and teeth bared as she batted the poor animal around with her paws, and probably suffering a particularly terrifying death. So I decided to try the bell thing. Guess what? Apparently her proficiency is better than I imagined as she still brings home prey, the same as before.

I guess my attempts to outsmart the cat failed as poorly as my past attempts to outsmart the market. <g>

I'm long over the weekend. Have a good one
