I'll probably have to go back quite a few years. Which isn't to say that there have not been times when the market was subject to manipulation in the past.

Perhaps in the meantime you could sketch out an explanation for today's activity that does not involve manipulation.

Or maybe you could do some research on a company like JNPR or VERT and identify the average price that the investment bankers solds their shares for, the average price the insiders sold their shares for, and the average price all others sold their shares for. You could even determine the percent of the shares that that they once owned that each group still retains.
