<<Are you advocating an US Agricultural Economy?>>

Nope, a production economy. Agriculture would be a part of it but also TVs, construction equipment, clothing, cars. Finished products.

<<are you hoping the US take a huge step back? I'm surprised you'd suggest that. >>

Just get yourself giddy because I'd like to see the US as a giant producer again with a trade surplus.

<<Don't tell me you are in the business of planting beans and grain in ol' Bloomington.>>

Nope, not in ol' Bloomington. The ground is full of high priced buildings. I raise corn and beans in Tazewell County on land that has been in the family since before the Civil War. Now maybe have been bitching so much about the agriculture program Bush signed but as the prices have gone up on grains the government payout has gone down. Ie. beans have moved up to where the government won't be paying a nickle on that billion dollar program. Beans are now 26 cents over the minimum for the program. You mind the government not paying out a billion bucks?
