I Capitulate!!!!!! , i am 61. I am selling a valuable property that when done will leave me in a situation where i am considering never buying equities again. I hold with several that the only sure fire safe way to go is into TIPS. Tisch in Bloomberg's this month says for the next 10 years, TIPS will be the safest place to be(and i also support gold people, but i am going slow and easy, that is if i can stay away:). My timeframe for a bad, rough and tumble market is now of great length as the powers to be are going to make this a brutally slow process and will make matters only worse overtime. Today impressed upon me that the Hedge Funds have the market in their control. I can't even see a intermediate term, sleep at night period ahead, of say one month upmove. It will be perhaps 1 step forward 1.1 steps back for months, chop chop chop, and for you shortermers only.Max
