pvz, a Google search for 'stock market cycles' convinced me I could spend much time on studying cycles, not necessarily profitably. I am familiar with the semi chip and semi equipment cycles and have them charted since 1990 and 1995, respectively. They are somewhat predictable, even though duration and amplitude vary. Stock market reaction is not always as expected, though. Semi equipment stocks should be up further than they are if the past is a guide.

Maybe it's better to stick to studying the cycle of a specific industry.
