albert,

Re: 1) it was done before recount that actually added to Bush's lead

You are wrong (as usual) the program was broadcast on Feb 15, 2001.

Re: 2) The guy was comparing american democracy to british one. It is funny that bbc reporter does not know that England is not a democracy but a constitutional monarchy

Both Bush and Blair use the rhetoric of "democracy" when they are on the stump demagoguing so you're simply being precious with your specious "distinction without a difference".

Re: 3) I specially liked the note about "innocent democrat voters". Such a flare for drama

Perhaps the term "naive" would have been more precise. They certainly weren't aware until election day that they had been effective disenfranchised by the GOP swindle.

Re: where do Ray finds those morons, he obviously prefers reading at his own intellectual level <gggg>

I'll leave the copy of Hustler at the newstand for you. So you can read at your level. "Naval gazing for (deleted)."

BTW, I find these "morons" everywhere these days. GWB is certainly ending up on the endangered species list much quicker than he ever thought possible:

salon.com

He certainly knows how to bring out the best in Americans. I've learned more about his violations of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution in the last nine months than I ever expected to be possible.
