Thanks for taking the time to answer those questions. I like your approach: pragmatic & descriptive. Keeping the focus on specific applications for wearable technology, the opportunities and obstacles, will go a long way toward avoiding the pitfalls of other boards. So, staying w/ that spirit, something in your post caught my attention:

"My initial targets have been in security/law enforcement/emergency response, network administration, and assisted living."

Assisted living? I'm assuming you're talking about retirement community stuff here - wearables as an enhancement/augmentation to the living situations of the elderly. I do recall reading something a while ago about wearables in this context, but the specifics elude me now. Could you go into a bit more detail on this, please; I may have some contributions along this line....
