You make two very true points: (1) Being ethical and moral does not make "rightwingers" pleasant (or prevent them from being so). I've often found leftwingers to be more pleasant and personable than my rightwing acquaintances. I've often found rightwingers to be unfriendly on a personal level and the reverse for leftwingers. There are many exceptions I'm sure, but that's my observation. Nevertheless, leftwingers are more intolerant of and more blind to morality and ethical standards. Their general approach is: "If it feels good, it's OK." Rightwingers tend to say: "If it's wrong, it's not OK."
(2) Your second point is that knowledge is useless to one Raymond Duray. Raymond is wallowing in knowledge, much of it just plain stupid and wrong. His knowledge, while vast, IS useless. He uses his bias to obfuscate the truth.

You decide, was it pleasant? Re: "Just because right wingers can be "pleasant" doesn't make them moral or ethical."
Ray, just because right wingers are typically moral and ethical, doesn't make them pleasant.
Be that as it may, you seem to have failed to garner the point. Knowledge is useless to you, for you are blind to your knowledge in the face of your bias.
A small point: Pleasant ain't bad, but pleasant your resulting incongruity will never be.
