Bob, how long will you be an employee of IHUB this time ?

I'm the President/CEO and am contractually bound to that position until 1/1/2004, although I'm not exactly counting down the days. And one of the two major stockholders.

Personally, I believe the "bone picking" of the SI carcass this weekend is sad .... and only ensures SI's demise !

I think the worry is definitely overdone. Justified in the long-term, but I just can't see SI shutting down anytime soon. INSP still has lots of cash and has 90 days to deal with the threat of delisting. And their being delisted, if it happens, won't be immediately fatal to the company.

I think the main "worry" is that if it does shut down, it will be sudden.

What guarantees are there that IHUB outlives SI ?

No more or less than any other site. I believe the business model assures its long-term survivability, but since it's a private company, all anybody really has is my assurances to that effect. The costs are very low (and very adequately covered) since there isn't a crew of dozens of people it has to support.

I think the best assurance of its long life is my involvement in it and my demonstrated obsession with message boards, going back about 15 years.
