Re: "it is the responsibility of the individual to file the proper forms...NOT THE COMPANY! Why would it be the responsibility of the company...they aren't the seller of the stock and any moron should understand that it is the sellers responsibility."

Why, you ask. Perhaps because some regulator thought that when an insider sells a serious piece of a company, it is rightfully company business to inform the world of what has taken place. Your use of the word moron seems obviously short-sighted to me, in any event. I believe you'll find, as reported on this thread by others, that Bush filed his 144 the day he sold, as I said. You don't even seem to deny this save by implication(false implication). Where's the beef? I believe you'll find that the company DOES have the responsibility to prepare the Form 4 in question, NOT the individual seller.

If I find or am shown to be wrong in this latter point concerning the form 4(which has been reported on this thread by at least one other, and also purportedly on Fox News), I will apologize.

If it is the case that Bush failed to tell the company(not requiring a form, presumably) that he'd sold and/or that he'd filed his 144 with the SEC, and that as a result the company was late with its form 4, I'd say no apology is necessary.
