| Yo ho ho......I have been sorting through books and papers from over the years for hours on end, ruthlessly tossing what I could, tenderly saving what was left. I have packed dozens of records inherited from my father- in- law, dozens of CDs collected over the last few years, dozens of videos. I have tossed bag after bag at the county dump, and carried box after box to the mountain that is burgeoning in my living room. Meanwhile, I keeping checking to make sure that the Ts are crossed, the Is dotted, and spend time moodily thinking about matters stirred up by it all. Then I sleep for too few hours, start again, or become immobilized, and try to recuperate before the next round. I think that the major part of it is done, and I will try to check in tomorrow....... |
