" USA was founded as a god fearing nation by god fearing men and women. When you pull that fabric out of the quilt something seems to fall apart."

Those same men held slaves, discriminated against women, and were intolerant of non-Protestent religions. Those fabrics were pulled out of the quilt and the nation is better for it.
