Lorne in a earlier post you said: "...58 dead Hindus in a burning train in India,..."
This I presume was in reference to the recent religious riots in India and had nothing to do with the invasion of India. To which I said that in the recently concluded riots, the Hindus started it by killing a Muslim train hawker. These Hindus were returning as a group from a National Hindu meeting. They were fired up after the religious congregation which denounced the terrorists actions of Pakistan.

I did not refer to the Muslim invasion of India.

Back to Lawrence of Arabia, the setting was in a desert since the Indian history as well as its geography was not suited for such. India is a old culture and it was subjected to invasion from not only Muslims but also from Christians such as the British, the French (Pondicherry) and the Portuguese(Goa). I don't think you will ever succeed in convincing me that the Muslim religion is bad since I have been acquainted with it longer than you have.
