Yeah, you sure did call it, alright. Merced didn't sell well at all. I guess by that reasoning, a second generation chip with twice the performance, far more software and infrastructure, chipset and platform support from the tier-1 players, and a far better welcome from the entire industry, is destined to walk the same path. You're a "genius", Dan3. There are simply no bounds to your "logic".
