dubya's first excuse for the Harken fraud was that the SEC must have lost his paperwork. That really can't be the case if he filed them 8 months later so the story got changed. Now why would he say he filed them on time if he knew he didn't? That's a lie any way you slice it. Why would he lie if he's so full of integrity? He filed late due to the timing of his sale. Why? If he filed properly it would have been obvious within weeks that he sold shares on inside info. A late filing date had a chance of slipping past scrutiny. It didn't slip past but daddy's SEC appointee declined to investigate while also saying wrongdoing was not ruled out. The question was not closed...just shelved. He lied to try to hide fraud.

The outright attack on freedom of speech should be more than enough to bring any sane person in this country to seriously question shrubbie's administration. I expect that those who continue to blindly march along to their tune will not get it no matter how much evidence is presented.

and...it's not about Gore...why is that even considered a valid point? You might as well say "I like Bush because he's better than...ummmm, ummmm Al Capone...so there"
