Karen, this isn't a difficult one to understand. I simply disagreed with the original statement you made. I don't believe it. Either you didn't hear it correctly, or the data is wrong, or I am wrong. I asked for clarification. In other words, where did the data come from? Then you posted an article which didn't substantiated the numbers your originally claimed as a 'fact'. *Fact: Children under five are eight times more likely to be murdered in the US than any other industrialized nation...* If it's a true fact then I'm sorry. I just want to know the truth. Of course any death of child is barbaric, wrong and disgusting. And I would be glad to have a discussion about the environment which gives rise to these barbaric acts. But that's a different subject. In the article you highlighted it stated most of these crimes come from "Big Cities". Big cities are dominated by left wing ideological thinkers in America. Republicans who do win elections in large American cities, run largely as moderates or liberals, definitely not conservatives. I then posted a map showing county by county where Bush received votes, and where Gore received votes. Clearly (by and large) Democrat votes come from large American cities.
