You've got to be kidding me. That map shows what i said: The northeast (the only region of the US to experience a drop in violent crime since Bush took office) is the most liberal part of the country.

So how does the liberal welfare state cause violent crime? Or does it magically only cause child murder?

Further making your correlation assertion ridiculous, is that we have much more child murder than the rest of the first world: Europe, Canada, Japan, all are much more liberal and have a much more extensive welfare state than anywhere in the U.S.

So how does liberalism and welfare correlate with violent crime in general and child murder in particular?

You've offered only rhetoric and a map. Is that it?

I guess i'm out then.
