Ebbers is expected to plead the 5th before the committee today. Why....WHAT a surprise! I do agree with others sentiments. If you want this sort of thing to truly change then enforce the laws already out there regarding fraud, etc.. That is...in a land where an average citizen can do some significant jail time for purposely writing a bad check; any executives who can be proven complicit in stealing and/or manipulating millions if not billions of dollars for individual gain (or to hide malfeasance) should spend a few years in an 8 x 12 cell with a roomie named Bubba.... 'Course....this is merely my opinion (to quote one Dennis Miller). I could be wrong. Now let's see if Fridays market-wide rally has any legs. So far (glancing at the futures), it doesn't appear to have any, with todays "oops on earnings" de jeur (spelling?) being MRK. John~
