Someone PM'd this Paul Desmond comment to me:

"Friday qualified as a 90% Upside Day on the NYSE but not on the Nasdaq. The problem is that the 90% Upside Day was not preceded by a 90% Downside Day. The vast majority of similar situations in the past have turned out to be upside blowoffs, quickly followed by new lows."
