Governmental decisions on the media's function are inherently rife with conflict of interest. Hence the widely accepted notion that FREEDOM of the press is not only an extension of freedom of speech but an understanding that subversion of factual underpinnings of disagreement are diametrically opposed to the democratic process. You right wing extremists support the democratic process...right????????
