An individual sells stock and it's the responsibility of the corp to report it? That in writing anywhere? If I pay a CPA to do my taxes, is it his legal responsibility to send the return in? And I do doubt that W filed his Form 144 personally....it doesn't seem to be his style. So I would conclude that the same lawyer who did the 144 would have almost simultaneously filed the 4.
