John,

Are you catching any of this idiot circus on the WCOME congressional hearings? Idiot questions. Idiot answers. The Questioners are clueless and the Answerers can't figure out the gist of the idiot question.

I wish somebody in the audience would stand up and say:

"The $3.8 Billion wasn't lost. It was misclassified as a long term asset rather than a current expense. Results over a 5 year period would be the same either way. Results over a 12 week period are mistated. The error occurred due to a defintion/misinterpretation/misapplication of an JUDGMENT call related to the theory of an accounting principle. Such principle otherwise known as the attempt to match expenses to the revenues they produce using judgments, assumptions, estimates, and interpretations of the regulated accounting statutes. CAN WE END THIS CHARADE and go home Mr. IDIOT Congressman? Or would you like to resume AFTER you learn something about the conceptual framework of accounting and the mechanisms of auditing?"

This is an incompetent 3 ring circus. CNBS in one ring being clowns tripping over the babbling Ferret, Congress in the middle show ring scooping up elephant dodo, and Andersen reps trying to walk the tightrope in the other ring.

When are they going to send in the Grandmaster Sullivan and his, MOST RELEVANT of all, detailed explanation of the rationale behind capitalizing the expense. Or are we investors not deemed smart enough to read it and draw our own conclusions?

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.
