We've pulled out folks, our job is done. L3 is free to rise or fall.
Some courtesy comments and information.
1. I did not say their price is UP. I said their prices are TOO HIGH. Others sell bandwidth for $10 to $50, and L3 sells it for $100 to $350. You want to check this, simply contact a few of their customers, or get their quotes and quotes from others.
2. L3 has huge relations with Worldcom.
3. Tens of thousands of square footage are empty in all locations.
4. L3 is no longer helping small and medium customers, and does not know how to do business with small and medium companies.
5. Large incorrect billing charges.
6. Problems with not resolving billing disputes.
7. L3 has lost huge number of customers, and continues to lose small quantities of what is left.
8. At the same time, L3 is gaining some new customers or increased long-term orders.
9. Moral in company goes up and down, but in general is low.
10. L3 has significantly reduced staff to the point of not being able to provide 24/7 support.
11. Their support charges are from 200% to 600% higher in a wide comparison.
12. L3 sales is doing poor job with existing customers.
13. With all this, there is still a possibility of a long-term success for the company. Only if they do not piss off our clients any more. The funny thing is they had no idea that they had even done this.

The items of most concern that could break L3 are 1, 5, 2 and 4 in that order or priority.

Good luck to you all, and pray that you do not see me again on this thread. This posting is a rare treat from our normal silence.
