its going to suck bandwidth

that's not the point. unless consumers are actually willing to pay real money for <insert fave bandwidth sink> it will simply becomes another means for providers to bleed cash.

videophones are DOA until providing the service becomes so cheap that it becomes a $1.99 add-on to the monthly phone bill. and once it's that cheap the infrastructure companies aren't going to make anything on all this wonderful technology.
