I may be leaving this forum soon... Even if they don't expel me for calling Mani a liar, the advertisements are just getting out of hand. -- blinking ads at the top of my screen (the current one is a "Get a Great Price for your Next Car!" annoyance) -- pop-up ads that appear every time I change to a new message (the current one is "Relia-Quote") -- and of course ads scattered in other places, depending on context. I guess the idea is that to efficiently use this POS SI forum I'm supposed to buy one of those 22-inch LCDs and then ignore the real estate soaked up by these annoying, blinking ads. Oh well, Infospace, the company which owns SI (at one time through Go2Net, though I don't know which intermediaries even exist anymore) is on the verge of being de-listed from the NASDAQ. Buh bye! --Tim May
