J F, In this electronic day and age we have the ability to go back to a full democracy and have referendums on all thigs, debates available online and votes on line as well. Pay people to vote to make sure they exercise their franchise. With the web in most homes and the ability to serve the others by mail and by library/cybercafe vote. In fact I can see a day when all people have aterminal in the same way all people have a phone(a very few do not). We could take the country back from the politicians...note, this will be over their dead bodies. Bill
