X the Unknown. That is good handle. However, after reading your post, seems to me that Unknown is becoming somewhat clearer who you are. Yes indeed, we can get into more of the recent riots in India. But as you rightly point out and also to Lorne's observation, it is not the religion.
Lorne raises the issue of moderates being silent. Well, Gandhi a Hindu was assassinated by an extremist Hindu. Rabin a Jew was assassinated by a extremist Jew. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a Muslim and a democratically elected Prime Minister of Pakistan was assassinated by a Muslim general, Zia ul Haq. So the forgoing instances does corroborate the fact that that from the Hindu-Muslim riots in India, or the Christian-Protestant riots in Ireland, that we can conclude if a religion is bad or not.
Do you think Osama is alive? The PAkistani President has several times claimed that he is dead. But he has not stated that emphatically. You would tend to think that considering the hold that the ISI (Pakistani CIA) has in that region, they would know about him one way or the other, if not his whereabouts, at least if he is alive or not. I am sure that the stock market will get a tremendous boost if news about his death proves to be true. |
