Witnessed a lot of Short covering this afternoon and some firming in a few key issues. This bodes well for the near term.

Currency markets are rife with Vested interests, trading positions on the whole are much greater than equities.

Personally, I see the Euro Failing within two years. Russia has already caught Europe in the formation of Small business, this is huge. Russia is entering a rennasaince(sp?) of sorts and will now begin to become one of the key engines to world economic growth.

Russia has the flat tax, and they are running surpluses in the collections department, have recently accelerated repayment of their Debts to international agencies as well.

Eurpoe is a MESS. All Politics, and center staged media planning, in fact the control Unit of europe has shut it's sensory organs to it's own citizens. This is huge news, but dont expect anyone in oldline press to tell you.

No; all this crap about Dollar vs euro is not unlike an equity pump and dump. Too many of the trade have long euro short dollar positions, it's as if the propaganda will carry the day. It wont.

Euro may not exist two years from now, and that is the ultimate reason for the churning in currencies underway now. Mr Market cant tell the truth.

Better be contrary here or play in the shortest of time horizons.

One final Prediction; Capital Gains Tax cut is coming!
With the flat tax by 2008.
