21st Century Announces $100K in New Sales of Night Sights
July 09, 2002 08:06:00 AM ET

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 2002--TEXN Arland D. Dunn, President and Chief Executive Officer of 21st Century Technologies, Inc., today announced that 21st Century's wholly owned subsidiaries, IWI and MMC, have accomplished $100,000.00 in new sales of its PT Night Sights and their MMC counterparts, including substantial sales to major manufacturers.

At least $69,000.00 of those sales are scheduled for delivery within 30 days. "Delivering a fine product at a fair price, when combined with marketing savvy and expertise will produce sales like the ones announced here today," said Dunn. "I would like to point out that although some the sales represented here are, in fact, to major customers, there are several sales to smaller customers, including some at the retail level. I am encouraged by the expansion of the active customer base. Relying on but a few big customers is a dangerous practice."

Dunn advised further that typically, the summer months represent the slow season for law enforcement and sporting goods sales. However, original equipment manufacturers, such as gun manufacturers use the summer months to build inventory for heavy fall demand. Doing business with major manufacturers during the summer months smooths out the typical business cycle for IWI and MMC.

Dunn further observed that he did not regard the sales figure as just a one-time event. He believes it to be a harbinger of things to come, including far deeper penetration of the existing market for the tritium-powered night sight business by 21st Century's IWI and MMC.
