Market appears to have some strength today, which may be a sign that the recent selling has subsided for a while.

It is too early to say whether the last few trading days have formed a bottom of any significant duration but it seems probable at this point. The recent extreme lows on the various BPs I track here may yet prove themselves as buy signals.

I am still concerned about the bullish sentiment amongst the investing public as measured by the low equity P/C ratio today, and by the latest survey result at indexsentiment.com
