Always a pleasure. I would say that the Appeals Court screwed the pooch by making it an issue of whether the pledge could use the locution "under God". That seems to me perfectly constitutional, even if promulgated by the Congress. The only real issue is the circumstances of its recitation. I will comment about that shortly.....
