Hi, I would like to join the discussion of LVLT, Buffett, and the possibility of acquisitions of distressed properties in the telecom sector. I believe the stated purpose of the 500 million fund was to acquire properties, focusing on customer bases rather than assets in the ground. Therefore, Q would have to be on the top of the list, as are other CLECs that have filed for bankruptcy but still have sizable customer bases. The best way to invest in these companies would be through the debt structure. I think this is a significant step in the history of the telecom sector. Buffett is not afraid to take risks if the potential pay-off is HUGE, ie Long Term Capital, and a few insurance companies he has tried to buy cheap. larry
