I really don't see
the logic in your thinking. Basically you are saying that Tony is getting the short end of the stick. How do you know that? How do you know what is happening to him, is unfair? Do you have direct knowledge of the events that led to his incarceration? If in fact it is proven in a court of law that Tony in fact violated the law, then he deserves to pay the price and if that happens, then he put his own "LIFE ON THE LINE". But on the other hand, if you were members of the enterprise, it would be nice for you to contribute to his defense fund after all you have ridden on his coat tails, so why not come to the aid of a fallen brother in arms! I am sure that Tony has enough money stashed in Costa Rica, Belize, Lebanon, and Canada, to provide for his family. I say Tony should be considered innocent until proven guilty. But, even though he is considered innocent, he still has to go through the justice system process and there must be guarantees that he will be around when it comes time for trial, and not laying on a beach in Lebanon or Venezuela.

It is unfortunate for his family, but it was also unfortunate for the families of David Miliken, Keating, and many others. What about the family of Jose Gonzalez who happened to be arrested for being at the wrong place at the wrong time? We gonna set up a defense fund for him? Or, what about Willy Brown that was just standing on a street corner and happened to be the wrong color? We gonna set up a defense fund for him? What about all of the homeless children right in our own communities? Who needs the help more, them or Tony's family that reportedly has $743,000 stashed in Lebanon?

If Tony can afford his current attorney, he certainly is not in need of a defense fund! If he had a public defender, well then it might make some sense. Just remember, those high power attorneys don't work for free!
