**IOM Tie Ratios, Anyone?**

This may be redundant for those who visit
multiple IOM threads, but for those who don't
go over to the 'Any Infos...too High" thread,
I'm conducting a survey to ascertain probable
ratios of Iomega disks to drives.

The simple question is:
"How many Zip/Jaz drives do you use and how
many disks?" As you know, Iomega has been
rather secretive about tie ratios so far. In
theory, of course, we're trying to make money
on the disks, thus tie ratio info is meaningful.

In an effort to keep the thread from getting
too cluttered with 'real numbers' (because it
would dilute "Any Infos..." insult ratio),
it may be better to email your response to:
bill@magneticdiary.com

Lurkers most welcome, too.

The early results from an admittedly too small
sample size suggest a tie ratio of 16 for Zip
and 4 for Jaz. There seem to be a lot of '10
packers' out there. Any help in increasing the
survey's accuracy is appreciated. I will post
regular updates here if anybody is interested.
