Bull fight festival are just begin. Dell Bulls are just being asked to come outdoor for a bull fight like the rest of the bulls or real bulls. They can not just enjoy eating a fat PE hays in their ware houses, and driving the forklifts around on other people expenses.
CPQ, IBM, HP and others have spent a lot of money work with the retail channels to demo their products so customers can touch and feel before buying. Well it is obviously backfire on them, because smart customers went test drive at the store and comeback to order cheaper price DELL PC through mail-order or the Internet. OK Dell bulls listen up! you are being asked to fight outdoor now, eating the real grass otherwise they are going to seal your warehouse. Your fat PE hays will not last that long, and you are going to be starving to dead, you are not a bear you know which they can hibernate. Now CPQ, IBM, HP..... are willing to cut their price and sacrifice the margin to match with this mail order crap from DELL. The users go for a test drive and buy what they like right there with the same price, or if they like mail order they too can buy through mail order or cool web page internet. Would they buy from Dell? Hell no if it is the same price, they will most likely buy the one that they are already tested and feel. Dell can not survive only with mail-order, everybody are going to match their price or do it better just to kill these BULLS. Here is what Mikey will do, he too will approach the retail channel to get his product out there for the showcase, spend more money to get his product out slash his margin to compete with others. If he does not approach the retail channel store I would be very surprise, it's almost like commit all his followers to a suicide mission (wear the black suits and Nike shoes). Dell is a manufacturing company they can not or do not have the power to dominate the market.
OK DELL bulls these are my opinions view point, if you don't like it that is not much you can do, taking out the gun and shoot your PC that won't bother me.
After all these bulls fighting for the hay stacks, their PE should be very close to each other + or - 5 tolerence. Time will tell TICK TICK TICK....
As of day trader, if you are playing only on the short side wait for a big jump like a 9 points or above before moving in. Of course Larry will do it both ways, Greg Butcher will only count his money, John Houang will only watch.
