and others. Here comes the PROMOS & LOYALTY PROGRAMS, & CASH BACK..ecard, debit card stuff you all and me have been looking for..
I spent the day today with one of the top merchant card ISO's (independant sales organizations). I was with a local area head honcho and part of his sales organization during a training meeting. I'm going to be repping merchant credit card/debit card services to area businesses in southern california. All on my own time etc...
Now..for the news..
One..if you didn't already know this FIRST DATA CORP(FDC.NYSE) and AUTHORIZE.NET are in BED BIGTIME!!
In fact, FDC uses AUTH NET for a very, very large percentage of their overall credit card processing.. FDC holds 72% of all credit card transactions...in the US and they are international.
Now, FDC has AUTH NET hooked in to provide any and every internet business with credit card processing.. I mean..like this was totally a GREAT THING from FDC's point of view..
Now further, AUTH nET of course has a mega reseller org in place already... and FDC also uses AUTH NET services for many of its clients..
HERE's the deal..
I was told...1.that auth.net will be offering any and all merchants instant loyalty programs!
Joes pizza will be offering rewards to its customers..just like AMERICAN AIRLINES..
all instantly, all with discounts to the customer...all at no charge to the merchant!
2. There are going to be GIFT cards available instantly! Going to BLOCKBUSTER>>. Robinsons may,,etc.. giving a gift card for friends or family...
Now,, JOes pizza pie shop can create them instantly and sell them to you to give to your little league team or ????
3.Cash back programs..most of you already know something about this...not too new..
4.DEBIT CARDS...ALREADY TAKING THEM..you might have known this..
Promos..he would say it out loud..but ..it was leaning towards that for sure...
5. & 6. & 7.. services....will knock your socks off as he said..
I found out that AUTH NET thru its relations with FIRST DATA... can/does offer some of the most competive rates and the very , very best in customer service of any company out there..
Airpay...executive says..vERY VERY HOT indeed... very very easy to use and set up...I was told there are many, many opportunities with this and their units.. don't only drawbacks , just like a cell phone is the coverage..however, can be plugged into phone line with adapter..etc..
also..will be coming out with AIRPAY PC!! watch for this...this will be very cool indeed..
all this and much, much more will be coming out within the next several months... roughly 4 at best estimate..
By the way to all who laughed at BOSTTLS pizza guys with the airpay......quit laughing..!! My understanding is the reason that FDC HAS 72% of the ENTIRE CC market..is because the sold and offered to all the little guys first...
All the plumbing companies, and home service people..will be using airpays... mark my words on that!!! ANYONE HEARD OF DIAL ONE??

Now, this is general information.. not anything that a little bit of research and due dilligence couldn't uncover..
However, because I spent the time with a person familiar/working for an independant sales organization, neither INSP & FDC.. but.. a party who reps their products.

Lastly, what you all need to know..people with years of experience in merchant cards. that i talked with candidly one on one swear by the auth net products.. and are thrilled to be repping them..
So..sleep soundly..sleep well my friends and fellows.. and just know that the MIGHTY JAIN ..for all the freakin harm and damage he's caused us all over the periods.. will not, I repeat will not be in vain for nothing ....!!
