Market call:

The main question in my mind now is whether 1310-1297, 1265-1255 or something worse is ahead.... or whether we maintain the recent bottom awhile longer. Like most, I can't call it.

At this point, I could make a case for continued stairstepping down, with 1297-1310 the next nearterm bottom, a brief rally and 1255-1265 or 1200-1210 to follow on the next go-around.

The only thing I feel certain about is 1035-1745 is our outside parameters between now and 9/15. Our low for this go-around is either here or 1345 tomorrow, or 1250-1260/1200-1210 between tomorrow and Monday.

This is perfectly useless info to trade on tomorrow because we could go up for 3 days from here as easily as any other scenario just mentioned.

The SOX is key, as is the dollar, and both held key lines of support today.

I will make no recommends on individual stocks as yet because my own trading record has been awful for 2 months straight, the worst ever. (i.e: bought GFI at 13.57 a few days back and dumped at my stoploss of 11.49 2 days ago... and today it woulda been a profit.)
