QQQ Max Pain at 27 gives some clarity to the situation. If it was not for that, I'd be wary of a new low right now. I'm not looking for that until the end of this month or the beginning of August, however.

You will have gone wrong in 2002 being long 10-days prior to expiration with the QQQ $2.25 below Max Pain. Let's see if that adage still holds true.
