moneymadetrader,

So, what is your argument here?

That Elgindy is only a little criminal compared to Lay, Tyco and Martha Stewart; and should not be prosecuted?

Since when did the law ever work like that?

I believe Lay and other execs of Enron will go to prison. Ditto on Tyco. I believe the SEC will force Martha Stewart to give up her ill-gotten Imclone gains. I doubt Stewart will go to jail, but her 'good' name and her company (and unfortunately her shareholders) will get a harsh kick in the derriere. For a stupid mistake, Stewart will lose a lifetime of good-will which may even destroy the company she founded.

They will most certainly get theirs, and if Elgindy is found guilty, he will get his.

FWIW, I also doubt the government's allegation that Elgindy knew about 9/11 beforehand. It sounds unlikely in the extreme that the terorists, having gone to such elaborate secrecy and planning, would've called Elgindy at the last moment just so he could sell-off a relatively small quantity of stock.
