AC Flyer,

I just finished reading all 5 WSJ articles where Mr. Flynn, the barber from Massachusetts, was profiled. It's an interesting read, and gives one just a glimmer of insight into why the markets have tumbled so slowly (especially the NASDAQ), rather than suffering a capitulation-like one-day crash. Now I wouldn't try to draw too many inferences from the harrowing investment experience of a single novice in Massachusetts, but after reading all of the articles, the parallels are simply too obvious to ignore. I'll post all 5 stories, in full, later tonight. It'll take some time to read them, but they read like a time capsule over the past 2 to 3 years. I found myself saying, "Oh, yeah! I remember that!" on many of the market moving incidents that affected this man's portfolio... A really good read...
