When the levels of participation and posts were higher, vandals were just noise level, and there was enough negative reaction by the regulars to drive them out without the need for moderation. But a number of G&Kers have drifted away, or gone to lurk status to avoid being targets of attack, and I don't feel the current environment is open and productive. Mostly it's a soap box for hotshots trying to build a following without starting their own forum.

I know a number of the regulars won't switch, though, which is why I didn't name this thread "G&K moderated".

That's the gist of it.
