<Mr. Market reduces daily what he thinks the profit of holding stocks will be. Feel better??>

Well, it hasn't reduced much. The Dow is down from 11,000 to 9,000 and denominated in NZ$ it has changed a bit less than that, but it's been a bumpy ride, with the NZ$ going from US70c several years ago to US39c two years ago and now back to US50c.

But yes, I do feel better because at least your comment now makes sense [even if it isn't strictly accurate in that the market isn't reducing share prices every day, just most of the time - but your point is correct = shares have been going down the gurgler]

I've considered Au, but it would feel too much like going back to the stone age and taking part in irrational exuberance. I'll stick with something useful = pixelated Green$pan Trusting in God, GeorgeW, Scalia, Ashcroft and co [which is questionable] and phragmented photons which everyone in the world wants.
