It would be more prudent to direct you to Mishedlo, who is SI's resident expert on Max Pain: Message 17708477 He might have an entire archive of posts and studies he's done this year on it. I've been following Max Pain for about the past year. It works mainly with indices and large caps per my observations. You need a significant amount of open interest to make it valid.
