Indictments? From the Bush Administration? How could anyone there indict a crook when Bush and
his administration have so much to hide.

- Cheney, the Vice President, hides minutes from the Energy Meetings with Enron
- Halliburton is under investigation by the SEC when Cheney was the CEO of Halliburton

Why would Ashcroft indict anyone?

He had to remove himself from Enron case because of Enron campaign contributions.
Didn't he also receive Worldcom contributions?

A newscaster tonight said that Bush believed corruption in corporate America went to the highest levels.
Since Bush was once a corporate officer at a company that misstated earnings,
since Cheney was a CEO, since O'Neill was CEO at Alcoa, since Ashcroft
got big business contributions, and since Gail Norton's Interior Dept.
is stuffed with people from corporate America, who would issue indictments against Ken Lay or
other corporate officers in companies that have collapsed because of illegal activities?

There is always Condi Rice but she is famous not because she is Dr. Condi Rice but because
one of the big oil companies named a ship after her.

Harvey Pitt might do something but he has had so many ties with the Big Accounting companies
that you wouldn't expect him to do anything now, would you? Surely, he would have acted b4 now.
Or maybe he will pass a few more rules now that W's neck is in the noose.

But indictments? TP, you must be kiddin'!
