Scott:

Here's the bell that rang for me when you referred to "assisted living":

bath.ac.uk

or:

itu.int

These projects attempt to create highly integrated "smart" environments to assist people with diminished capacity to function w/ greater independence. While not specifically focused on "wearables", easy to see how certain wearable/wireless products would fit into this picture (medical monitoring, for example). I wasn't specifically thinking about XYBR in this connection.

Integrating computers into w/chairs is a great idea - though I'm not so sure "wearable" is the clearest term to use in that case. It's one more example of how wireless & mobile form factors are moving computing technology into unfamiliar territory and faster than we can develop a vocabulary to describe the possibilities. This relates back to XYBR's IP and the difficulties I think they will face as these new applications emerge.

Had more to say, but ran out of time. Back later....
