<" A $100 investment in AMD stock in February 1983 would be worth approximately $100 today. That is, despite the enormous increase in the size of the PC market over the past 19 years, AMD's stock has provided minimal investment return (in contrast, Intel's stock is up more than 4500% since early 1983)."

Yes, had you accumulated INTC from 1987 through 1999, you would have made a ton of cabbage, (like I did). Then had you put the proceeds into AMD to ride the K7 wave, you would have tripled your money from there (like I did). Now you could just trade in and out of T-bonds making a nice 1% in cap gains every other week or so, while collecting 5.35% interest (like I do).

Yeh, and BTW, I was shorting INTC all the way from $75 to $25 (darn, I missed the last leg from $25 to $18).

And what have you done dear Todd?
