Yep, I saw that. I think they said that channel checks are pointing to Cisco making its quarter. That is good news. But it shouldn't be much of a suprise. The Cisco of old was rock solid at making their quarter and I think Chambers said in the last conference call that he and Carter wanted to make Cisco a boringly predictable company when it comes to meeting earnings.

Anyway, I think the demand for networking equipment is on the rebound and that demand is going to lift all networking boats. But the outsized gains will come to Cisco, since they are the market leader and have gained significant market share during the downturn.

Merril's 12 month target price was $18. I bet we get close to that shortly after Cisco releases their numbers. Do you folks remember the wild pop we had last quarter? I'm just guessing, like anyone else, but I bet we get another wild pop this quarter if Cisco makes their earnings estimates and doesn't have any funny business in their books. Anyway, I have some shares I bought at $13.40 and will buy more if it drops to the low $12's. Good luck all!
