<< they are talking about stocks that pay dividends, so we can buy'em and watch them doing nothing, and get 3% for the trouble. If that was such a good idea, then why is the DOW looking so sick?>>
What better stock than ATT, which pays 1.5%, lost $4 bil last year, is rumored to be dropped from DJIA, cant sell their IPO. Yes, dividends are questionable.
Those averages much worse than they appear, since they continue to drop losers and add winners to keep up appearances. Like those dropped from the S+P today.
Exmples of less known stocks I am still working with are ally, geacf, tsco, brli, and bprx. Not much recent progress- kinda holding their own but doing better than the average
bprx was added to the R2000 and is moving up
