I consider that course to be religious indoctrination...

I would have pulled my children from that class in a New York minute.

And while I *think* I understand your point...I think the last thing we need in our elementary schools is yet another breeding ground for the John Walker Lindhs of the world.

ps....

And why simply "major" religions? Surely we pride ourselves in this country on our tolerance and acceptance of minority views?
