Anyone?
Weird things happening in my computer. Occasionally the hard drives start churning away for about 1-3 minutes. Instead of the usual rapid flashing of the case hard drive light, it's either on solid or sometimes not lit at all. The machine freezes during this period, but then picks up right where it left off. Norton Utilities CPU Usage histograph shows no spikes, and there is never any change in C: free space, although it sounds as if the drive is overwriting itself. If I reset the machine during this operation, it does not appear to recognize the hard drive at initial boot, and I have to power it down, after which it boots normally (most of the time there is no need to reboot - I used to panic thinking some virus was eating my system).

This is a year old homemade system, with an Abit mobo with Highpoint 370 Raid 1 -mirroring-, twin Seagate drives. I'm running Win ME, GoBack 3.0 (I don't think it's doing it since it's at random intervals and didn't start when I got it, but how do you change its settings?), Norton Systemworks Pro 2002 (finds no problems).
